Ilmet is probably one of most beautiful skyscrapers In Warsaw. It has a nice pink-orange colour and original but not too complicated shape. It is unusual that the building has an elevation made of precious stone. Also the main hall is decorated with granite and marble. A large, rotating logo of Mercedes located on the top is a characteristic detail.

The building has 3 underground floors, where car parks and car wash are located, and 22 floors over the ground, 20 of them are of office use. A-class offices, so the most luxurious ones, are located here. In the lower part of the building there are also a few shops. Like almost every modern skyscraper, Ilmet is an intelligent building it has, among other things, automatic fire systems. A few well-known companies have their offices in the buildings, among others, Daimler Chrysler, Volkswagen Bank, Millenium Bank and airlines: Swissair, Hungarian Malev and Ukrainian Aerosvit.

Ilmet was constructed by Austrian company ILBAU GmbH in mid-1990s. Currently it is the lowest building that exceeds the heights of 100 metres. Although the building is situated next to one of main crossroads, thanks to its 'silent' architecture it does not attract much attention. And lately, when on the other side of ONZ roundabout new skyscraper Rondo 1 was constructed, Ilmet became even less visible.
